I just took a 3 night trip to the Bahamas… Staniel Cay… total last minute.. Insanely fun. I swam with nice sharks, fed swimming pigs, got a crazy tan… and have decided I need to go back. Maybe rent a house there for a week or so? I’m doing it! 

It was perfect… I flew from Long Beach to Fort Lauderdale and then took a private plane to Staniel Cay (which is a tiny island in the Exumas with less than 100 locals).  The only negative is that right now I’m hanging at the Fort Lauderdale airport waiting to go back to LA.  I actually love Florida (sort of) but the airport doesn’t cut it. I usually to do Florida a few times a year (palm beach)….but haven’t been to FortL since last Feb when i went to visit some guy I was into…but of course I got lost and drove to Miami instead and was an hour late to his gig. I have a lateness problem in general.  Didn’t Fort Lauderdale used to be like spring break central? now it’s mexico.
